The "Progress MS-33" cargo ship, which "Roscosmos" has scheduled to launch on March 22, will deliver an expanded food package to the Russian ISS crew. The menu for the flight was described by Alexander Agureev, head of the nutrition department at the Institute of Biomedical Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, to RIA "Novosti".

The list of soups includes borscht with smoked meats, kharcho, shchi, pickle soup with meat, pea and vegetable soups, as well as pumpkin and cheese cream soup. Main courses include four types of omelets (including with broccoli and mushrooms), homemade beef, goulash puree with potatoes, mushrooms in the old Russian style, several types of porridge, and pasta with mushrooms.

Among the canned snacks are beluga, jellied sturgeon, salmon, carp with vegetables in oil in the Kerch style, beef tongue in jelly, pate, and chakhokhbili. Baked goods include Borodino, rye, and table breads, honey gingerbread, and cookies.

Drinks include freeze-dried juices of eight types, kissels, cocoa with milk, coffee, and tea. Cottage cheese comes with five fillings: sea buckthorn, pumpkin-apple, and blackcurrant puree, with nuts and with sesame seeds. According to Agureev, the composition of the set of fresh vegetables and fruits has not yet been determined.

The launch became possible after the restoration of the launch pad for "Soyuz" rockets at Baikonur, which was damaged last year.
