Manifold Carrier 541156 on the KAMAZ-6522-3011-47 Chassis for Field Operations Presented by RIAT

The special-purpose vehicle is designed for transporting oil and gas pipeline fittings units

RIAT has developed the 541156 manifold carrier on the all-wheel-drive KAMAZ-6522-3011-47 chassis (6×6) for transporting oil and gas pipeline fittings units — manifolds used in well tie-in, hydraulic fracturing, and other technological operations at fields.

The power unit is a KAMAZ 689.510-400 diesel engine (Cummins ISL400 50) of Euro 5 environmental class with an output of 390 hp and torque of 1,682 N·m at 1,400 rpm. The transmission includes a 16-speed manual gearbox ZF KAMA 1820 and a two-speed transfer case for distributing torque between the axles in difficult road conditions.

The 7 m long cargo platform is made with a metal deck without side boards. A tubular protective structure is installed behind the cab. For autonomous loading and unloading, an INMAN IM-240-3 loader crane with a lifting moment of 21.9 t·m is mounted on the rear frame overhang: lifting capacity is 7.3 t at a 3 m outreach and 2.9 t at the maximum outreach of 7.6 m.

Curb weight is 17,220 kg, gross weight is 33,100 kg, and payload capacity is up to 15,805 kg. The permissible gross combination weight is 53,100 kg with a maximum trailer weight of 20 t.
