Engine plant for the T-90M "Proryv" has accumulated 500 million rubles in debt

An enterprise of Uralvagonzavod, the Chelyabinsk plant "ChTZ-Uraltrak", has not paid its electricity bills

The debt burden of the Chelyabinsk enterprise "ChTZ-Uraltrak" has exceeded 500 million rubles under lawsuits filed by the company "Uralenergosbyt". The plant fulfills the state defense order and produces engines for the T-90M "Proryv" tanks.

Court documents indicate that this concerns the principal debt for the period from February to June 2025 in the amount of about 199 million rubles and penalties in the amount of another 46 million rubles — bringing the total to about 245 million rubles.

The second lawsuit was considered by the Arbitration Court on December 29, 2025. It concerns the enterprise's debt for the period from July to September 2025. The total amount came to nearly 141 million rubles, of which the principal debt is slightly more than 126 million rubles. The court decision has not entered into legal force, and the appeal will be considered on March 10.

In fact, while court proceedings were underway for some periods, the debt continued to accumulate over the following months, which led to an increase in the total amount of debt.
