The "Autostat" agency conducted a survey on the most interesting and promising new products on the Russian car market in 2026. More than 2,000 people took part in it, 80% of whom are representatives of the automotive industry and auto business.

Unexpectedly for many, the Umo 5 electric car took first place, scoring 23% of the votes, said the head of "Autostat" Sergei Tselikov. Its assembly at the "Moskvich" plant started just a couple of weeks ago. The model is based on the Chinese GAC Aion Y, and Yandex acts as the manufacturer.

In second place (18%) is the revived "Volga". The three models K40, K50 and C50 visually resemble the Chinese Atlas, Monjaro and Preface, but the company officially denies cooperation with Geely. The project has already been launched in Nizhny Novgorod.

The third line is occupied by Lada Azimut (14%). The main intrigue is whether the plant will manage to launch sales this year.

The fourth place is occupied by the "Moskvich" model range - M70 and M90, which should appear at dealers in a week. Prices, according to rumors, start from 2.69 million rubles. The new partner SAIC-MG promises European habits.

The new Tenet Plus project (based on Lepas models), which was unexpected even a month ago, was singled out by 7% of respondents. But the project of the Russian electric car "Atom", which is written and talked about a lot in the press and social networks, for some reason scored only 3% of the votes. And why?
