In 2025, serial production of the lightweight maneuverable off-road vehicle (buggy) Chaborz M-4 for the needs of Russian servicemen will be launched at the Chechenavto plant. This was reported by the enterprise's director, Said-Khusain Taimaskhanov.
According to him, the corresponding request came from servicemen. At the first stage, the enterprise plans to produce 200 buggy units.
For this, we signed an agreement with AO "Korporatsiya robotov" to create a robotic line for welding Chaborz M-4 elements.
The Chaborz M-4 was developed by specialists from Chechenavto and Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The prototype of the modification was presented in 2024.
Features of the Chaborz M-4 buggy:
- Top speed — 90 km/h
- Curb weight — 1,200 kg
- Range — up to 500 km
- Lightness and strength of the structure
- High cross-country ability
Over the past 2 years, Chechenavto has sent 200 Chaborz M-3 buggy units to the Russian Armed Forces. They are used in combat operations, Taimaskhanov added.
