The construction of a new production building specializing in the manufacture of components for the HSR has started at the "KSK" industrial and technological park in Tver. The event is timed to coincide with the implementation of the Moscow-St. Petersburg high-speed railway project.

According to official data, the investment volume of the project is estimated at 2 billion rubles. Financial support is provided by PJSC "Sberbank" within the framework of a tripartite agreement with the participation of the Eurasian Economic Commission and NPO "Voyage."

Production facilities with an area of 12,000 m² will be focused on the production of a wide range of interior and structural solutions for railway transport. The list of products to be produced includes: facing panels for ceiling, floor and wall surfaces; modular sanitary zones; water treatment systems; luggage consoles; fire-resistant partitions with the integration of door blocks of the driver's cab; other elements of the internal equipment of locomotive-hauled cars and multiple units.

The building that we are laying down will be focused on components that we have not produced before, and competencies that we did not have. Interior compositions will be made of new innovative materials that should be lighter, better, more aesthetic, in order to give a new level of comfort to passengers in the new high-speed train. In addition, Tver will continue to produce components that we produced before.
Taras Spivak, General Director of LLC "KSK"

The project implementation period is 18 months.
