An amazing lot has appeared for sale in Minsk — an Il-76MD military transport aircraft with serial number 0083487607. The aircraft is currently located on the territory of the local National Airport.
The aircraft does not have engines, so it is not suitable for flights in its current state. Also, the "76th" does not have an auxiliary power unit and special equipment.
The transport aircraft is being sold in the format of an auction, the base price is 2.3 million dollars, which is about 233 million rubles.
Used property. The operability of the components and assemblies has not been checked. Hidden defects may be revealed during instrumental control, diagnostics, and disassembly.
Previously, the aircraft was operated by the carrier Transaviaexport, but was later withdrawn from the fleet. According to data from open sources, this particular aircraft was built in 1988 in Tashkent.
The auction will be held on March 27. The winner of the electronic auction is the participant who offered the highest price.
