Import-substituted Astra Linux OS has received a "native" PVS-Studio static analyzer

The tool for finding errors and vulnerabilities in code has been certified for operation in a secure environment

"Gruppa Astra" and the company PVS-Studio announced a technological partnership. The static code analyzer is now certified for operation in the Astra Linux operating system, the company said.

Cooperation with PVS-Studio strengthens Astra Linux's position as a modern development platform. We see demand from the professional community for seamless integration of familiar tools. Now developers working within the secure perimeter of our operating system can use static analysis capabilities directly in the coding process — in VS Code or Qt Creator.
Kirill Sinkov, Director of the Department for Work with Technological Partners at "Gruppa Astra"

Astra Linux is a Russian Linux-based OS certified by FSTEK, the FSB, and the Russian Ministry of Defence. It allows work with state secrets and is actively replacing Microsoft Windows in government agencies, state corporations, medical institutions, and universities. PVS-Studio is a static code analysis tool. It finds errors and vulnerabilities without running the program. The plugin is available for VS Code, IntelliJ Platform, Qt Creator, and OpenIDE. Soon the analyzer will support JavaScript, TypeScript, and Go.
