Iranian TV channel IRIB has published photos and videos from joint naval exercises of Russia and Iran, which took place in the Gulf of Oman. The footage shows ships of the two countries.
The maneuvers involved the Steregushchiy-class corvette Stoikiy (project 20380) of the Baltic Fleet, the Alvand light frigate of the Iranian Navy, and the Shahid Sayyad Shirazi missile catamaran of the Shahid Soleimani type, which is in service with the KSIR Navy.
The published materials also show special forces from the KSIR Navy, the Iranian Army, and sailors from the Russian Navy who participated in the joint training.
