Sergey Boyarsky claims that he deleted foreign messengers six months ago and did not regret it

The Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Sergey Boyarsky, in an interview with Fontanka.ru, explained why he deleted popular messengers and switched to the domestic Max.

According to the deputy, he deleted WhatsApp* and Telegram six months ago in order to feel possible difficulties, but did not experience any discomfort.

I, for example, do not have a VPN. And I deleted WhatsApp* and Telegram six months ago in order to experience this possible pain. But there is no pain. I started spending half as much time on the phone, because before I read everything in three places, but now in one.
Sergey Boyarsky, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications

The main means of communication for the deputy was the domestic messenger Max.

In "Max" I have all the chats - both friendly and work. Everything is in "Max". Well, that is, if you want to communicate with me, communicate in "Max".
