The Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Sergey Boyarsky, in an interview with Fontanka.ru, explained why he deleted popular messengers and switched to the domestic Max.
According to the deputy, he deleted WhatsApp* and Telegram six months ago in order to feel possible difficulties, but did not experience any discomfort.

The main means of communication for the deputy was the domestic messenger Max.

At the same time, Boyarsky admitted that not all fellow deputies and officials have yet switched to the new platform. In such cases, he uses SMS or cellular communication.
