FSUE "Rosmorport" has announced an auction for the dock repair of three port icebreakers with a total budget of over 268 million rubles. The application was published in the unified information system in the field of procurement.
The work will be carried out as part of the regular survey and must be completed no later than September 20, 2026.
The vessels in question are "Kapitan Kosolapov" and "Kapitan M. Izmailov" of project 1108, as well as "Semyon Dezhnev" of project 97A, which are assigned to the North-Western Basin Branch of the enterprise. The order of placement for repair will be agreed with the customer, taking into account the schedule for presenting the vessels to the register.
After modernization, the icebreakers are planned to be used in winter navigation. They will provide icebreaker assistance in the water area of the Big Port of St. Petersburg, as well as in the ports of Vysotsk and Vyborg. Competitive applications are accepted until February 24, and the results are scheduled to be announced in early March.
