A pair of Russian-made Su-35 fighters with the identification marks of the Algerian Air Force (AAF) were spotted in the sky of the North African country. The photo was published by the O R C A Military account on the social network X.
The picture shows two fighters with the identification marks of the Algerian Air Force and in camouflage colors. The Su-35s were not carrying weapons and, apparently, were performing a training flight.
Algeria became the second foreign country to order Su-35 fighters after China.
The General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec), Vadim Badeha, noted that Russian combat aircraft are of great interest in the world. According to him, the best confirmation of this is a huge queue of customers.
