In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), demand is growing for Russian military aviation, which has proven its effectiveness in real combat operations. This was reported by Vladimir Gutenev, coordinator of the parliamentary "friendship group" with the UAE.
According to him, the main focus is on the Ka-52 helicopter and the Su-35 multi-role fighter.
Foreign buyers are also showing interest in the Su-57E fighter, the Mi-171Sh military transport helicopter, the Il-78MK-90A tanker aircraft, and the Mi-28NE "Night Hunter" helicopter, which has proven its effectiveness.
The 19th international Dubai Airshow will be held in the Emirates in November 2025. It is expected that during the event, the UAE may conclude a series of contracts for the purchase of Russian military aviation.
