By 2033, two new machine-building plants will appear in Donbas. The projects are being supported by the Region Development Corporation, established in August 2022.
The "Vistek" enterprise will be built in Donetsk. It will produce goods for the mining, metallurgical, transport, and energy industries. Investment in the project will amount to 970 million rubles.
The region will also create the "Donetskgormash" plant with investments of 358 million rubles. Its specialization is the production of mining equipment, including shearers for coal mining, conveyor and lifting equipment, pumping stations, and hydraulic systems.
The "Vistek" project is planned to be completed by 2031, and "Donetskgormash" by 2033.
