The Yandex 360 team announced the launch of a major update to its suite of work services. The main change affected "Documents," which now support simultaneous collaboration by up to 400 users thanks to CRDT (Conflict-free Replicated Data Types) technology.
This technology is used in situations that require constant data synchronization, such as online games, messengers, and note-taking services. Its use in online documents minimizes version conflicts and makes it possible to see all changes in real time. In addition, "Documents" now includes an image cropping feature directly in the editor.
The updates also affected video communication in "Telemost." The program now operates on a more modern codec. This ensures high image quality that remains clear even with an unstable internet connection, and also prevents delays in calls, even when many people are participating.
The mobile application of "Tracker" has also gained new features: the "Projects" and "Portfolios" sections have been added, and the ability to edit transitions between task statuses has replaced the automatic assignment of identifiers.
