Law enforcement officers explained how to recognize documents created by a neural network

The Ministry of Internal Affairs named the main signs of such forgeries

Fraudsters are increasingly using neural networks to create forged documents. They often use fabricated data, and if you look closely, you can find contradictions. The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs explained how to recognize the deception.

An important sign of forgery may be the absence of standard formatting elements. Official documents have a clear structure. They include details: the name of the organization, registration number, date, and signature of an authorized person. Such attributes are often missing in fakes. According to Ministry of Internal Affairs employees, fake documents may contain strange fonts and unusual or rare design elements.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs also pointed to the spread by fraudsters of video and audio files which, as a rule, contain "artifacts." These include, according to law enforcement officers, hidden logos, as well as unnatural movement of a person's lips in video or the absence of small details. Fake videos usually have a static or distorted background.

Law enforcement officers urge Russians to remain vigilant and not fall for the tricks of criminals.
