Fraudsters have started using a new scam, posing as employees of the airport control department. This was reported to TASS by law enforcement agencies.
The attackers call citizens, naming their personal data and claiming that they did not fill out a migration card after flying from abroad.
Then the fraudsters ask to dictate the code from the SMS to the alleged inspector, after which they use standard methods of stealing funds.
Law enforcement agencies emphasized that only foreign citizens fill out migration cards. Russians are not required to do this upon arrival.
