In 2025, the Reutov-based Research and Production Association (NPO) Mashinostroyeniya sharply increased production volumes. This was reported by the enterprise's General Designer Aleksandr Leonov.
According to him, in 2025 the volume of work turned out to be greater than in 2024.
Both in terms of volume indicators and profit indicators, in all the main indicators, the enterprise fulfilled its tasks.
Leonov added that, in addition to serial deliveries, the enterprise carried out experimental design work in the areas of strategic and cruise missiles, as well as in the creation of satellites.
Everything that we were supposed to do, at least everything related to the supply of especially important systems, we fulfilled all our plans in full, we did not disrupt a single task, we completed everything on time.
Let us recall that NPO Mashinostroyeniya produces the "Tsirkon" hypersonic missiles, the "Oniks" cruise missiles, and the "Bastion" coastal missile system.
The "Tsirkon" is capable of reaching speeds of up to Mach 9 and has a range of up to 1,000 km. Military analyst Yurii Knutov emphasized that it is impossible to shoot down the missile with existing air defense systems.
