Computer game enthusiasts, thanks to their skills, do an excellent job of controlling drones. This opinion was expressed by Pavel Porokhonko, deputy commander of the 71st Separate Regiment of Unmanned Systems (BPS) of the Moscow Military District, during the training of servicemen at the Sergeytsevo training ground.
The most experienced pilots emerge from such cadets.
According to him, gaming skills will also be useful for drone operators in the future. Porokhonko is confident that thanks to the development of unmanned systems, servicemen will be able to find work in the civilian sector.
Exercises on the use of "Bumerang" reconnaissance drones were held at the Sergeytsevo training ground. The fighters searched for mock targets and, after detecting them, transmitted their coordinates to the crews of "Molniya" strike drones. Their task was to destroy objects simulating enemy equipment and basing points.
