Supercam reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have received remote control technology from anywhere in the world. This was announced by Ekaterina Zgirovskaya, official representative of the Bespilotnye Sistemy Group of Companies.
The new technology has already been tested by the Russian military. It has proven its effectiveness.
The solution allows you to deploy a UAV control point anywhere in the world, receiving telemetry, photos, videos and other data in real time via a secure channel in encrypted form.
The introduction of the new technology provides a new level of security for the pilot and payload operator. Only an antenna and a modem for data transmission are located in the drone's operating area.
This approach also protects information in the event of the position being captured by the enemy. At the same time, data is transmitted with minimal delay between the remote control point and the aircraft.
The technology can significantly reduce logistics costs and deploy situation centers with operators anywhere in the world.
According to Ekaterina Zgirovskaya, the new development may find civilian applications in search and rescue operations, environmental control and monitoring of extended facilities (oil and gas pipelines, power lines).
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Supercam S350 reconnaissance drone received an artificial intelligence-based system.
