The new generation of Supercam S350 drones has received an improved automatic target acquisition and tracking system. This was announced by Ekaterina Zgirovskaya, a representative of the Unmanned Systems Group, at the arms exhibition in Belarus.
According to her, the developers are striving to improve the quality of transmitted data, the stability of communication in the electronic warfare zone, and also to increase the flight duration of UAVs. In addition, they are improving the interaction functions of the Supercam S350 with the operator.
On the new devices, the automatic target acquisition and tracking system will be more accurate, and the reaction to operator commands will be faster.
Zgirovskaya explained that watching the video transmitted by the drone tires the operator. But the automatic target tracking module reduces the load on the military personnel.
By clicking the mouse on a moving or static object on the screen, the target is "captured" in a frame. The Supercam S350 "follows" it and corrects the flight path.
