The Laboratory of Advanced Wireless Technologies has been opened at the St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI." This is the first training laboratory in Russia equipped with domestic systems for the development and maintenance of communication equipment of 4G and 5G standards.
The hardware complex consists of three stands that simulate the equipment of modern communication systems. The equipment includes a functional copy of the LTE/5G system, an automated control system for mobile communications of various standards, as well as a model of a hybrid wireless network.
We have all the necessary hardware for practice-oriented work with students — future designers and developers of modern communication systems. As well as for conducting research in the field of building advanced communication systems.
The laboratory will cooperate with LLC "Laboratory of Infocommunication Networks" – one of the largest developers and manufacturers of Russian telecommunications equipment.
