In 2025, Russian shipyards delivered 129 civilian vessels to customers. This was reported by a representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
According to the agency, in 2024, shipbuilders delivered 131 vessels. This indicates that the total volume of production at domestic shipyards remains at a stable level.
In 2025, customers received various types of vessels (passenger, cargo, fishing vessels, and technical fleet vessels). The final results of the industry's work will be summarized in the first quarter of 2026.
It is worth noting that the United Shipbuilding Corporation (ОСК) plans to modernize «Северная верфь». The modernization of the enterprise may be completed by 2030.
Earlier, ОСК also announced plans to build more than 1,600 vessels in Russia over 9 years. Among them will be bulk carriers, tankers, icebreakers, passenger and research vessels.
