In Donbass, mining enterprises are switching to processing raw materials into finished products

White clay, granite and sand are processed into ceramics, crushed stone and building materials

In the Donetsk People's Republic, companies engaged in mining, enterprises of Donbass are increasingly switching to processing raw materials into finished products. This was reported to TASS by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic, Vladimir Yezhikov.

According to him, the depth of processing directly affects the economy of enterprises and creates additional added value. Today, most mining companies in the region carry out at least one or two stages of processing.

Thus, a cement plant and crushing and sorting complexes at granite quarries, which produce crushed stone of various fractions, operate on local raw materials. Sand processing is also carried out.

Yezhikov noted that the white clay mining enterprise has already installed equipment for its enrichment and plans to establish the production of ceramics.

Earlier, the Prime Minister of the DPR, Andrei Chertkov, emphasized the priority of developing coal chemistry in order to produce products with high added value.
