The Irbit Motorcycle Plant (IMZ, the Ural brand) has launched production of sidecar motorcycles — the Ural Neo 500. The model will be manufactured in China in cooperation with the company Yingang.
In January, the manufacturer plans to begin deliveries of the Ural Neo 500 to the United States. The first batch of motorcycles has already been shipped to Japan.
The new model differs from the classic Urals with its modern design. The manufacturer also promises that the Ural Neo 500 will be easier to handle.
The motorcycle is equipped with a 446 cc engine producing 35 hp. The model is expected to be priced at $15,000 in the United States.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Kalashnikov unveiled the Izh-Enduro motorcycle with a universal trailer.
