A fire broke out at the Moscow-based ODK-Salut enterprise, which manufactures and services aircraft engines, including AL-31F engines for Su-30 fighters. This was reported by the Telegram channel "112".
The fire engulfed the roof of one of the production buildings. Information on the extent of the damage is being clarified.
Fire and rescue units promptly arrived at the scene and began to localize the fire. The spread of the fire was stopped at an area of 300 square meters.
The press service of the capital's Fire and Rescue Center reported that equipment was burning in a production complex at the enterprise on Budyonny Avenue. There were no reports of casualties.
It should be recalled that ODK-Salut is engaged in the production, repair and modernization of aircraft engines.
At the moment, there is no information about the victims. Emergency services continue to work, and experts are assessing possible damage to infrastructure. Rostec and UEC have not yet commented on the situation.
