Rostransnadzor recorded about 36 thousand violations at railway crossings in 2025. This was stated by the head of the agency, Viktor Gulin. He spoke about measures aimed at reducing the number of accidents at such facilities.
According to Gulin, regular inspections of crossings are carried out throughout the country. In 2025, over 12 thousand such facilities were inspected. A significant number of violations were identified, most of which have already been corrected.
All accidents in the last five years have occurred due to the actions of drivers who ignored traffic rules. The accidents were not related to the technical condition of the crossings.
The agency is focused on further work to reduce the number of accidents, which will be an important step towards improving safety for all road users.
