The Russian Kalashnikov concern has fully supplied the customer with KUB-2 guided loitering munitions (UUB) under the state contract for 2025, the concern's press service reported.
«КУБ-2» are produced with a warhead of different masses:
- Small-class UUB (hit manpower and unarmored vehicles)
- Medium-class UUB (suitable for strikes against enemy UAV launch positions, helicopter pads, and lightly armored vehicles)
«КУБ-2» are maneuverable and equipped with optoelectronic systems.
Operators can guide «КУБ-2» to moving targets and hit them in manual or automatic mode (thanks to the onboard computing complex with AI elements). The press service added that the strike munition is highly effective, especially when used in conjunction with the «Скат-350М» reconnaissance drone.
Kalashnikov supplies new-generation UUBs to the Russian Armed Forces, but can also export them.
