The vessels were built at the GALS shipyard in Nizhny Novgorod. They are designed for 20 passengers and are characterized by high cross-country ability, stability on ice and shallow water, as well as comfort for users.

The design solutions allow the "Sputnik-20" to move along frozen water areas and shallow sections of rivers, which is especially important for winter navigation.

The new vessels will be involved in winter navigation in St. Petersburg, where they will be able to transport guests and residents along the frozen Neva and the Gulf of Finland. The project is aimed at expanding the tourist and transport capabilities of the city, as well as developing domestic water transport using modern technologies.
