The Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) has at least 240 Su-34 fighter-bombers in all modifications. The Telegram channel "Russian Weapon" made such an assessment.
A little over a week ago, on December 10, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) delivered another batch of combat aircraft of this series to the military. The company noted that after modernization, the Su-34s are capable of striking targets hundreds of kilometers from the airbase.
Also, Rostec shed light on the long-suffering question of the strange beak-like shape of the nose of the Su-34. The state corporation noted that thanks to it, the crew received a more spacious cabin, and also acquired a powerful radar.
Recall that the Su-34 is a supersonic fourth-generation front-line fighter-bomber developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau. The combat aircraft is capable of accelerating to 1900 km/h (1.8 M).
