An ambitious aviation project is launching in the Novosibirsk region: a project to build a modern plant for the production of light aircraft from polymer composite materials has been approved in Berdsk. This was announced by the head of the city, Semyon Lapitsky, at a meeting of the Investment Council.
The new enterprise will be located in the area of the "Berdsk-Central" airfield - a plot of land for construction has already been allocated. The plant will specialize in the production of four types of aircraft: from training to regional passenger aircraft with a capacity of up to 24 people.
When the facility reaches its design capacity, it will provide 270 high-tech jobs. Annual tax revenues to the city budget are expected to be about 180 million rubles. The launch of production is scheduled for 2028.
