Law on transferring house chats to Max approved in the State Duma

Management companies must interact with residents through a domestic messenger

State Duma deputies approved in the second and third readings a law according to which management companies, resource suppliers and regional operators for TCU are obliged to communicate with residents of apartment buildings (MKD) through house chats in the Max messenger.

According to the adopted document, the decision of the general meeting of owners of premises in the MKD on the election of council members is drawn up by a protocol in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Construction and is signed, inter alia, by the elected members of the council. The details and timing of the execution of acceptance certificates for services rendered and work performed on the maintenance and current repair of common property in the MKD will be determined by the Ministry of Construction.

Vladimir Koshelev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services, is convinced that the problem of identifying owners will be solved thanks to the chat in Max, which now makes it difficult to hold general meetings of owners remotely. The parliamentarian explained that other messengers are not sufficiently protected, their use carries the risk of personal data leakage.

In the current environment, the only messenger that is advisable to define as a service that ensures the functioning of house chats is the multifunctional secure information exchange service Max. The changes will improve the level of communication between residents of the MKD and management organizations.
