All decisions on the creation of the GTE-190 have been made, and its design is actively underway. Based on the technical solutions of the GTE-170, we are conducting R&D to improve the characteristics of the machine's components of this type. This will allow us to bring to the market a gas turbine unit with a capacity of about 190 MW with an efficiency of over 36%
Alexey Podkolzin, CEO of the company

According to him, the GTE-190 is a deep modernization of the existing turbine, providing increased efficiency and economy for generating companies. The head of the company emphasized that the new unit will be more profitable to operate and better meet the modern requirements of the energy sector.

The first GTE-190 sample is planned to be delivered to the customer in 2029. In the future, Power Machines intends to completely replace the GTE-170 line with a new model, thereby updating the fleet of gas turbines at Russian energy facilities.
