The UMG plant "Chelyabinsk Construction and Road Machines" has presented an updated version of the UMG WL50 front loader, localized for the Russian market. This was reported by the company's press service.
The new model uses a YaMZ-236 turbodiesel engine with a power of 168 kW and Russian drive axles with increased load capacity.
As part of the localization project, all metal structures, hydraulic cylinders, operator's cab, tanks, and hoses were also import-substituted. The level of localization is more than 80%.
The WL50 loader has also been improved. The model has received an ergonomic cab with a built-in ROPS/FOPS protection system. This improves operator safety.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Kurgandormash plant will present a new mini-loader.
