Russian "Spartak" armored vehicles reinforced the Iranian police

The new 59095С-15 provide the crew with protection against small arms and landmines under the wheels

In Iran, an official transfer of a batch of new Russian armored vehicles 59095С-15 "Spartak" to Iranian law enforcement agencies took place. The vehicles were handed over to employees of the local police department during a ceremony organized jointly by Russian manufacturers and the Iranian side.

The armored vehicle 59095С-15 "Spartak" meets the requirements of GOST 34282 and is equipped with combined protection: the level of ballistic resistance of the engine compartment and units is BR4, while the habitable compartment is protected according to the BR5 standard, which provides reliable protection for the crew from small arms bullets up to large-caliber ones.

In addition, the design of the bottom and wheel zones is designed for mine resistance equivalent to 6 kg of TNT. These characteristics make the "Spartak" one of the most protected light armored vehicles in its class, suitable for both urban operations and patrolling in areas of unstable environment.

  • Weight in combat condition: up to 15 tons
  • Crew + landing party: 2 + 8 people
  • Armor protection: class 5 according to GOST (resistance to 12.7 mm B-32 bullets at a distance of 200 m and shell fragments)
  • Engine: diesel KamAZ-740.35-400 with a capacity of 400 hp
  • Maximum speed: up to 100 km/h on the highway
  • Power reserve: at least 1000 km
  • Wheel formula: 4×4
  • Fording depth: up to 1.5 m without preparation
