- Meets modern requirements for energy efficiency and environmental friendliness
The equipment is connected to the main system and already provides power supply to Seversk.
About Seversk CHP Plant
One of the largest energy facilities in the Tomsk Region is located near the Siberian Chemical Combine. The CHP plant was put into operation from 1953 to 1961. The power plant provides energy to the combine itself and the closed city of Seversk.
Rosatom has launched a large-scale modernization program for the Seversk CHP Plant. The State Corporation plans to build and reconstruct the second stage boiler units, as well as install new turbines.
