With a powerful turbine and a 480-horsepower engine: TKM 727S vacuum excavator created in Tver

The new product will replace German counterparts in the Russian market

At the Tverkommash plant, tests were completed and the TKM 727S vacuum excavator was certified for safe soil extraction in hard-to-reach places. A machine with such parameters was created in Russia for the first time.

Only two companies in the world produce analogues of the model, both from Germany. Since 2022, they have stopped deliveries to Russia.

The idea to develop our own excavator came to the Tverkommash team due to the lack of foreign supplies. Research and development work took two years, and the level of localization of the new excavator was 95%. Of the imported components, only the 6x4 chassis from the Chinese manufacturer SITRAK.

The uniqueness of the new excavator also lies in the record depth of soil extraction — up to 50 meters, while the average parameter on the market is 6-8 meters.

The machine is capable of moving away from the suction point to a distance of up to 150 meters, which also exceeds the average performance of competitors. The hydraulic boom of the new product can extend to 6 meters and rotate 180 degrees. This allows the operator to perform manipulations remotely.

The excavator is equipped with a 480 hp diesel engine and a turbine with a capacity of 42 thousand m³/h. Soil excavation is carried out from the control panel, improved LED lighting is provided for work at night.

Tverkommash plans to produce up to 20 vacuum excavators per year.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the new "SKALA" mining dump truck was developed at PJSC KAMAZ.
