The Astra Marine Group of Companies (GC) will launch sightseeing voyages on the three-deck ship "Nimble Beaver" in St. Petersburg for the first time during the winter navigation period. The vessel of project 780-03 will cruise along the Neva River and the Gulf of Finland.
The first voyage is scheduled for December 19, the ship will depart from the pier of the Peter and Paul Fortress. Winter walks will last until mid-January, and will further depend on demand from tourists.
About the "Nimble Beaver" ship
The Ice 1 class vessel was built at the Moscow Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant in 1964. The ship's hull is capable of breaking ice 10 cm thick.
In 2024, the "Nimble Beaver" was modernized. The cost of the work was estimated at 150 million rubles.
The ship's cabin is heated, one of the three decks is open. It can carry 65 passengers on board.
