Russian Ministry of Defense Denies Hacking of Military Registration Registry

All hacker attacks are suppressed

Information that the Military Registration Registry was hacked is not true. This is how the Russian Ministry of Defense commented on information from a number of media outlets about an alleged successful hacker attack.

An anonymous group of hackers previously stated that they had allegedly hacked the infrastructure of the IT company "Micord" and gained access to some data. Its website is currently unavailable to users; technical work is underway. Mikord has not commented on the information in the media.

This company, according to some reports, is associated with the development of the Military Registration Registry. However, the information has not been officially confirmed. PJSC Rostelecom was responsible for creating the registry. Its full version became operational in May 2025.

What the Russian Ministry of Defense Says

The agency denied the fact that the registry was hacked. The press service emphasized that it is functioning normally.
