According to Alexey Garipov, Deputy General Director and Chief Designer of the Kazan Helicopter Plant Design Bureau, stand certification tests for nine programs were also completed by the beginning of December. The tests are continuing as planned.

The modernized Ansat-M with Russian VK-650V turboshaft engines made its first flight on September 2. The new version received not only completely domestic power plants, but also an updated fuselage, as well as improved onboard systems.

The import-substituted Ansat-M is considered as a key platform for light aviation in Russia. The helicopter is designed for transport, sanitary and patrol tasks, and its adaptation to domestic components will ensure independence from foreign supplies and expand production within the country.
