Military personnel of the Russian engineering troops use mobile drilling rigs PBU-100 to extract water in the field. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Engineers determine the location for drilling, after which, using a compressor unit, they raise groundwater to the surface. Then, specialists conduct an analysis to determine the suitability of the water source for drinking and domestic needs.
About the drilling rig PBU-100
The equipment is designed for drilling water intake wells of various categories to a depth of 65-100 m. The PBU-100 is equipped with a tool that performs simultaneous casing (installation of a casing pipe).
