Japanese automaker Toyota, which left the Russian market in 2022, registered at least 5 trademarks in 2025. This is confirmed by data from the electronic database of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent).
We are talking about trademarks:
- Vellfire
- Carina
- Alphard
- Celica
- Starlet
The owner of the marks is "Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha". Their validity periods are until 2034-2035.
The company's management plans to use these brands to sell cars, SUVs, electric vehicles, spare parts and auto components.
Three years ago, Toyota stopped production at its plant in St. Petersburg and also froze car deliveries. Dealers continued to operate in the Russian Federation to serve customers who had purchased cars earlier.
