"Shadow" Sees Drones Before They Appear: Russian Detector Works on the Frequencies of the Future

The device is promptly modernized at the request of the military

A new drone detector called "Shadow" has been developed for the Russian military, which effectively anticipates the enemy's actions. The novelty can track all frequencies currently used by drones, the developers said.

A representative of the manufacturer noted that the device scans the full range of frequencies on which strike and reconnaissance drones operate.

Moreover, a significant resource for future, higher frequencies has been incorporated into "Shadow". This means that the device will be able to catch the next generation of drones without upgrading the case - it is enough to update the software.

The developers noted that "Shadow" is constantly adapting to the situation on the line of combat contact. Every time the enemy changes signals or "goes" to new ranges, engineers promptly expand or adjust the detection spectrum.

In fact, "Shadow" is turning into an early warning system that adapts to the enemy in real time. And the greater the intensity of drone attacks, the faster the detector itself is updated.
