The Russian military has received a new heavy hexacopter "Koschei" for delivering cargo and conducting strike missions. The novelty was developed by the company "Dominanta."
Company representatives clarified that the drone shows high efficiency in combat operations, and feedback from soldiers is mostly good.
It was previously reported that the "Koschei" motor is not gasoline, but electric, powered by a battery.
Although the power is slightly lower than that of the classic "Baba Yaga", the domestic hexacopter is more difficult to hear and destroy with heat-seeking missiles - its operating temperature differs little from the ambient temperature.
In total, "Koschei" carries up to six charges, the payload is up to 12 kg with the possibility of increasing it for specific tasks. The range of the drone is up to 30 km and above - with the use of a communication repeater.
