Russian military personnel have learned to resist a helicopter-type unmanned bomber known as "Baba Yaga".
This drone is capable of performing the functions of a bomber, carrying mines and transporting various payloads. However, Russia has developed effective means of countering such heavy UAVs.
One such solution is the "Perun" drone, capable of carrying up to 200 kilograms of cargo and armed with an anti-tank grenade launcher. In terms of tactical and technical characteristics, "Perun" surpasses "Baba Yaga" and can carry more payload.
The military also successfully used the "Koshchei" bomber drone, equipped with an electric motor. It is quieter than the gasoline-powered "Baba Yaga".
The fact is that its motor is not gasoline, but electric, powered by a battery. Yes, it is not as powerful as "Baba Yaga". But "Koshchei" is more difficult to hear and destroy with heat-seeking missiles: its temperature during operation differs little from the ambient temperature.
In addition, heavy drones of the "Force" series are actively used, which can carry up to 15 kilograms of weight and are protected from interception. This UAV has a digital video transmitter with video channel protection against interception. It is capable of traveling up to 50 km.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that "Iglu"was sharpened against "Baba Yaga": pocket air defense was equipped with a new thermal imaging sight.
