A 2013 Kia Rio sedan with an astonishingly low mileage of only 6 kilometers has been put up for sale in St. Petersburg. The car has been in a garage for its entire life. Its price is 1.95 million rubles. Interestingly, a new Solaris HS (rebranded Hyundai Solaris) will cost 1.93 million rubles.
Immediately after purchase, the Kia Rio was placed in a dry garage and never driven on the road. If the mileage of 6 kilometers is correct, it was probably moved by a tow truck from the dealer to the storage location. The engine was started periodically to maintain its operability.
To confirm the authenticity of the information, the owner did not wash the Kia or take it out of the garage. The car remains dusty, with an interior without traces of use. The car has a basic configuration: a 1.4 engine, a manual transmission, air conditioning and a standard audio system, heated front seats, steering wheel and windshield.
Kia Rio has been produced in Russia since 2011 in St. Petersburg at the "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus" plant. The new generation of the car, which is put up for sale, began to be made in 2017. The level of localization was 47%. The "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus" plant was stopped in 2022. Officially, Hyundai left Russia in early 2024.
