Sales of Solaris cars are growing rapidly in Russia. According to "Autostat", from January to August 2025, they increased by 123%, amounting to 17,474 cars. Russians are not even deterred by the significant increase in prices for cars, which exceed the recommended ones.
For example, the Solaris HC crossover (analogue of Hyundai Creta) in the Classic configuration with a 1.6-liter engine and automatic transmission costs 2.77 million rubles, which is 240 thousand rubles higher than the official price recommended by the factory. The version with a 2-liter engine in the Family configuration is sold for 2.983 million rubles, while the manufacturer claims 2.798 million.
Sellers explain the markup with additional equipment and note that the model has a classic automatic transmission, unlike competitors, who more often offer a CVT or a "robot".
The raised hatchback Solaris KRX (copy of Kia Rio X-Line) will cost the following prices: the Luxe version with automatic transmission - 2.426 million rubles, the top Premium - 2.681 million rubles. There are no discounts, and basic versions with mechanics are practically not supplied.
Solaris HS and Solaris KRS sedans are becoming rare: basic configurations are used for taxi work and rarely appear in free sale. Nevertheless, dealers have a Solaris HS Active Plus with a 1.4-liter engine, which sells for 1.95 million rubles (20 thousand rubles higher than the price from the factory). Solaris KRS Luxe with "automatic" is offered for 2.345 million rubles.
Despite high prices and limited deliveries, interest in Solaris remains high. Solaris sales are growing monthly, dealers note.
