The Irkutsk region became the region with the most noticeable decrease in prices for used cars in Russia from January to October 2025. According to analysts at "Auto.ru", the average cost of a used car in the region fell by 19.4% and amounted to 1.88 million rubles.
The second place in terms of price reduction is occupied by the Primorsky Territory - a drop of 13%, the average price of a used car reached 2.4 million rubles. The top three is closed by the Kaliningrad region, where cars fell in price by 12%, to 1.8 million rubles.
The top five regions with a noticeable decrease in prices also included St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region (-11.5%, to 1.9 million rubles) and the Moscow region (-11%, to 2.57 million rubles). Among other regions with falling prices, analysts note the Astrakhan region (-11%), the Kirov and Tula regions (-8%), the Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk territories (-7%).
At the same time, the used car market in Russia continues to grow. According to the Avtostat agency, from January to October 2025, sales of used cars increased by 1.7% year-on-year, amounting to 5.07 million units.
