I think this is a prospect [for the next] year or two.
Konstantin Pashkov, First Deputy Minister of Transport

According to him, we are talking about transport that can travel on rails without an employee of the tram management.

In Moscow, such a tram has been running on one of the routes since September. Its launch took place in three stages. First, the unmanned tram drove itself, but with a driver on board, who made the final decisions. Then, test trips were carried out with passengers and a driver. Finally, the third stage ended with the launch of a regular route without a driver.
