The plant in St. Petersburg plans to assemble just over 3,000 Lada Iskra cars. This plan is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. This was announced by the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov.
By the end of the year, just over 3,000 Lada Iskra cars will be assembled in St. Petersburg. In total, for St. Petersburg and Tolyatti, we have reached a rate of 15 cars per hour.
In Tolyatti and St. Petersburg, working shifts on the assembly line are eight hours. Sokolov noted that the assembly lines can operate at different speeds.
The top manager also spoke about the production of the Lada Aura model. He explained that the utilization of production lines is low.
The localization of the model exceeds 90%, but government purchases, unfortunately, are still slow.
